Transforming Lancaster West Estate, Social Housing
Following the Grenfell Tower tragedy, Lancaster West Estate (LWE) is undergoing a major refurbishment to become a model for 21st-century social housing. Backed by government funding and provisional support from the Mayor’s Energy Efficiency Fund, the estate aims to be net zero-carbon by 2030.
Derisk (UK) Ltd is part of this once-in-a-generation project will modernise 795 homes across six schemes, improving comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. A multidisciplinary technical team has been appointed to lead the design and delivery of works across the estate.
